We’re always delighted to see workshop technicians who go the extra mile and take the initiatives with the videos they put together. And it’s in that spirit the Workshop Star of the Month prize for October goes to Ben Gunn at Rybrook Land Rover in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
As you’ll see in his video, Ben has done a thoroughly professional job in conducting the tyre, brake and underbody check for the customer. But instead of resting on his own success, Ben has gone above and beyond to help his colleagues deliver excellent service via video, too.
Ben volunteered to chair a working group to improve the dealership’s use of video within the VHC process. As part of his work, he put together a presentation to help educate his colleagues, ran a number of training evenings and created a template script from which other technicians can create their own high-quality videos.
As a young Level 3 technician in the early stages of his career, Ben is showing the way forward in harnessing the potential of videos to strengthen the connection between dealers and customers. Well done, Ben!
