Video of the Month - February 2018

Retailer: Flear & Thomson Kia Stirling

The first thing we notice is Greg is wearing protective gloves which immediately gives a sense of professionalism. He is fast and efficient showing the tyre depth using the gauge to demonstrate. The bit of work required, due to movement and play in the track rod end ball joint, is shown clearly and mixed in a series of checks showing a clean bill of health.

Such an illustration of work required increases the likelihood of getting the go-ahead from the customer. The fact that he moves onto show brake pads are fine using the measurement to show them to be in the ‘green’ zone adds further credibility to the issue just identified.

Greg goes on to show other components in good working order which engenders more trust in his previous assessment.
