CitNOW Shortlisted for two Industry Awards!

We are delighted to be shortlisted for two industry awards being announced in November.

November is shaping up to be the month for Awards! A lot happens before the winners are announced – we have to submit our entries and have the nail biting wait to see if we have been shortlisted. There is often a shortlist presentation to the judging panel and then comes the even more agonising wait to see if we win.

Motor Trader – IT Innovation of the Year – Retail and Wholesale

We entered our Live Video feature into the Motor Trader IT Innovation of the Year category and we are delighted to be recognised in the shortlist.

During the COVID-19 lockdown our services became even more indispensable to retailers unable to host customers in person. In response to lockdown measures, we introduced a range of enhancements to our Sales and Workshop apps to enable retailers to introduce new contactless customer experiences. Central to this was Live Video, which launched ahead of schedule to complement the recorded video functions, and enabled remote face-to-face interactions with customers, managed from within the existing service.

This enhancement is available to all our customers, and requires no extra downloads, third party applications or subscriptions. Live Video sessions are activated through the existing software, with a URL link sent to customers in a brand-aligned email, along with the invitation to join a live video chat at a specific time.

We are delighted that our speed to respond and technology enhancement was recognised in the shortlist and we eagerly await the results in November.

Learning Technology Awards – Best international digital transformation of a training programme in response to COVID-19

The biggest ever Learning Technologies Awards shortlist has been announced and includes CitNOW in the Best International Digital Transformation of a Training Programme in Response to COVID-19. With over 500 entries in total and a shortlist of 214 we are absolutely delighted with this selection.

Our Academy helps dealers maximise the effectiveness of personalised videos for customers and provides ongoing support to maintain their video skillset. Prior to COVID-19 restrictions, 96% of Academy learning services were delivered on-site as a chargeable service. To support our customers during the pandemic, we not only moved all our training online, we also ceased charging for it. Since March 2020, over 300 automotive retailers have completed our virtual training – with over 900 completed eLearning modules across 16-countries.

As a new Awards programme to be involved in we are very pleased to have been shortlisted and given the opportunity to present to their judging panel. The winners are announced on the 18th November, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed.
