Automotive industry professionals have another chance to be named the best presenters in the business, as the CitNOW Video Awards return for 2018 with an enhanced roster of awards up for grabs.
Arnold Clark, Jardine Motors Group, Lookers and Ford join the CitNOW Awards as sponsors and will each name their own winners alongside the overall CitNOW Winners of the Best Sales and Best Workshop videos.
With nominations open until 7th May, entries are flooding in as the industry’s brightest battle it out to take the coveted titles.
Since their inaugural year at BAFTA in 2015, the CitNOW Video Awards have set the benchmark for video technology innovation across the automotive sector and now return with backing from some of the leading names in the business.
Entries will be judged based on video best practice criteria by an independent panel of industry experts. Judges take into account the accuracy and creativity on display in every entry, using the CitNOW Academy’s best practice guidelines as a reference.
The best of the best will be shortlisted in June, with the eventual winners announced at a glittering ceremony at the prestigious home of BAFTA in London on Wednesday 11th July.
The Director of Automotive Specialists ASE Plc, Trevor Jones, will be guest speaking at the highly-anticipated event, lending his renowned expertise in automotive profitability.
Alistair HorsburghAlistair Horsburgh, CEO at CitNOW commented: “The CitNOW Video Awards have become a real fixture of the automotive calendar, and an important moment for us to recognise how creative, innovative and customer-focused industry professionals are using technology to achieve fantastic results.
“We’ve had a record year for video uploads, and we’re very excited to see this year’s entries. There’s still plenty of time to enter, so it’s a great time to think about which videos have stood out and made a difference to a customer, and send them over.”
