CitNOW’s partnership with Auto Trader has seen its 360-degree imagery technology fully integrated into the digital car buying platform’s website.
- CitNOW partnership with Auto Trader delivers deeper integration of its 360-degree technology
- Retailers can seamlessly upload CitNOW 360-degree imagery onto Auto Trader listings
- Immersive imagery helps drive interaction and encourage enquiries on the UK’s largest digital automotive marketplace
- Greater integration arrives as CitNOW set to enhance innovative Web app
The development means it will now be easier than ever to view high-quality 360-degree interior and exterior imagery, making it more likely potential car buyers will engage with full page adverts.
The imagery will now be fully integrated into the Auto Trader advert imagery carousel, allowing car buyers to experience a car in full 360-degree view at the click of a button.
Offering a more immersive and in-depth experience, the integration of CitNOW Web’s 360-degree imagery will be trialed as the first option on Auto Trader’s imagery carousel to help drive greater customer interaction and encourage enquiries through to retailers.
Able to publish digital assets online in under an hour, CitNOW’s Web app helps retailers get new vehicle listings onto their websites more efficiently, with consistent, professional quality imagery and video to engage with potential buyers.
With buyers spending up to 60 seconds longer on adverts with video, according to consumer research by Auto Trader in 2018, enhanced 360-degree imagery could help retailers easily improve their customer engagement among car buyers.
Carol Fairchild, Commercial Director at CitNOW, commented:
“Auto Trader is the leading Classified marketplace in the UK, and integrating our 360-degree and video technology means retailers can improve their ad quality, making their car the star, increasing trust and transparency.
In the modern marketplace, your online presence is crucial, and high-quality imagery, 360 spins and video can transform the experience, attracting more customers and crucially increasing the conversion of online traffic to enquiries and in turn sales.
CitNOW Web makes uploading high-quality assets simple, and it’s going to be a growing part of our focus in the coming months and years.”
Auto Trader’s director of commercial products, Karolina Edwards-Smajda, commented:
“All our research tells us just how impactful video and high-quality imagery can be in driving greater consumer engagement with the retailer. And with 90% of all car buyers viewing a car online first, it’s never been more important for retailers to create the best possible first impression of both the vehicle and their brand.
“We’re committed to helping our customers win. That’s why we’re excited to partner with CitNOW to incorporate this innovative technology onto our marketplace, which we believe will further help retailers stand out in today’s increasingly challenging and competitive market.”
