CitNOW partners with Auto Service Finance to offer ultimate payment flexibility in aftersales

CitNOW has announced a new partnership with Auto Service Finance (ASF) that will allow consumers greater flexibility when paying for car repairs through its Workshop application.
  • Integration allows consumers to apply for zero interest multi-payment finance through the CitNOW Workshop app
  • Collaboration addresses increased demand for video-enabled services in the workshop
  • This development is the latest CitNOW enhancement designed to enhance the contactless customer experience

A dealer using CitNOW Workshop can demonstrate to the customer via video any required aftersales work, obtain immediate approval and, through the ASF integration, offer instant finance based on zero-interest payments.

The CitNOW technical integration is the latest development from the digital communications experts designed to quickly bring to market new video-enabled products and services that expand the contactless customer experience and help drive dealership profitability.

Colin Tinto, Chief Technology Officer at CitNOW, commented:

“What has become clear during this pandemic is that consumers are becoming more accustomed to communicating and transacting digitally and are realising that the associated processes can be a lot more efficient.”

“As we emerge from lockdown, convenience will continue to be a priority for consumers, which is why it made perfect sense for us to partner with Auto Service Finance.”

“Like us they are a leader in their field, and, more importantly, they share our vision for cutting-edge digital solutions that benefit car buyers while increasing profitability for retailers.”

Jack Allman, Co-Founder of Auto Service Finance, added:

“We are very excited to be working with the pioneers in automotive video, particularly as CitNOW, like ASF, has built tech led platforms that put the users experience at the forefront.”

“Both businesses share very similar ambitions to further enhance trust, transparency and ultimately profitability at dealerships across the UK and globally.”

ASF’s technology platform is particularly cost-effective for auto retailers in comparison to other part-payment providers, due to the higher percentage of agreements it approves. The company is dedicated to supporting the automotive industry specifically, with its approval algorithms incorporating crucial vehicle data, including historical data and information about its condition, into the decision making process.

Neil McCue, Chief Operating Officer at Snows Group – a customer of both companies, commented:

“We are excited by the integration of two of our key partners in CitNOW and ASF. This will further enhance our group’s digital focus and provide customers with the most transparent and flexible service experience.”

CitNOW is working in partnership with retailers and other suppliers to support the introduction of new contactless processes. To meet the increase in demand from retailers who want to engage and connect with their customers in a safe and effective way, the company is accelerating the development of a number of free-of-charge service enhancements. In March, the company introduced Live Video, to enable remote face-to-face interactions with customers directly from its Sales and Workshop applications. Further developments are due to launch soon, including additional integrations to support finance applications and enhancements to improve the consumer experience during remote communications.
