CitNOW creates ‘How2CitNOW’ video series to help retailers enhance their digital communications

CitNOW, the automotive industry’s leading digital communications specialist, has created How2CitNOW, a weekly video series aimed at helping car sales and service personnel make the most of their subscriptions.
  • How2CitNOW aims to upskill motor retailers and inspire creation of world-class content
  • Initial series focuses on video production techniques in Sales and Workshop
  • CitNOW's app-based digital services enable remote car sales and help retailers overcome challenging trading conditions
  • The tutorials join CitNOW’s contactless Academy and portfolio of training and e-learning modules – online resources available to dealers

Available on the company’s YouTube channel, the series provides customers with unique insight and useful tips to help them improve their contactless communications.

How2CitNOW is the latest in a series of easily accessible online learning tools provided by CitNOW’s new contactless approach to their Academy. The initiative, which incorporates new eLearning video modules, free-of-charge webinars and blogs, was quickly established to help support the automotive retail industry as it recovers from the effects of the pandemic. Within three weeks of lockdown, the company not only moved all its CitNOW Academy training online, it also ceased charging for it, to help get new customers up and running and help existing customers adapt their digital communication strategies in response to the crisis.

The first selection of How2CitNOW videos are now live, with episodes providing insight into why customers respond positively to personalised video, how to build confidence on camera and the importance of communication in the workshop. Upcoming episodes will cover the importance of investing time in video and best practice for sending a ‘thank you’ video to customers.

The popularity of personalised video content has never been greater. In July, CitNOW saw the number of videos made increase by 11% compared to the same period the year before, as dealers adopted new digital ways of engaging with their customers. On average, 85% of customers receiving videos in May and June 2020 viewed them – an all time high, reflecting how car buyers unable or unwilling to visit dealerships are embracing the contactless interactions enabled by CitNOW’s digital communications.

New How2CitNOW videos are released every Tuesday, on CitNOW’s YouTube Channel and on the CitNOW website. CitNOW subscribers can also access the videos within the Knowledge Base area on the CitNOW dashboard.
