CitNOW has appointed Carol Fairchild as its Commercial Director, as the video technology pioneer seeks to cement its place in the sector by further improving customer retention.
Carol comes with a substantial background and expertise in the automotive and aftermarket sector, having spent 18 years in the industry. She previously worked as a Group Marketing & Product Development Manager at Arnold Clark, overseeing its product development and marketing plans, having also launched her own consultancy firm in 2017. Carol will be leading CitNOW’s global marketing team to grow the brand’s presence across the UK and overseas.
She will also be involved in researching new market opportunities, supporting the sales team, and will be responsible for CitNOW’s leading integration with a range of retailer web and CRM systems, including CDK. Her appointment comes at a time when CitNOW’s products are already found in 94 of the top 100 dealership groups in the UK. However, the company is aiming to strengthen its market position through new opportunities as well as by expanding its commercial team.
“The team at CitNOW is fantastic and really passionate. Having spent the last 18 years at large automotive retailers, it was time for a change and I wanted to be a part of what is going to be a very exciting period for CitNOW. “We have four outstanding products, and a team set up to continuously iterate them based on customer feedback. Not to mention an account management team that really cares. It’s really exciting to see where we will be in the coming years.”
Alistair Horsburgh, CEO at CitNOW added:
“Carol comes to us with nearly two decades of experience under her belt, and we are delighted to have her on board. Her skills will be put to good use as we seek to build on the success we’re having, and I have no doubt she will help us continue to innovate the sector.”
