The best workshop videos leave the owner of a vehicle in no doubt as to its condition, and give them clear information about what to do next. We’ve seen a perfect example of this from our Workshop Star of the Month for November, Richard Evans of Acorn Burntwood Ford.

The video kicks off with an excellent explanation of the traffic-light colour coding system, so that the customer understands the priority of any work required. Richard goes on to deliver clear tyre readings, with the measurements put into the context of the legal limits, and points out advisory items like perishing tyres. His detailed inspection goes through more areas, such as brake pad measurements, and refers back to the colour coding throughout.

Overall, it’s a comprehensive workshop video that’s engaging and informative, while removing any ambiguity for the owner. Great job, Richard!
