Gates Ford of Stevenage – Mark Webb

The key to a good workshop video is to ensure that everything is explained as clearly as possible to a customer who may not be an expert. This has been demonstrated perfectly by our Workshop Star of the Month winner for March, Mark Webb of Gates Ford in Stevenage.

The service is conducted using a traffic light system to flag up any potential issues, which Mark explains right at the start of the video. This is then backed up with good use of visuals to guide the customer around the car, including the writing of the tyre tread depths on the tyres themselves. He takes the time to confirm the colour status of each item as he progresses round the car, and explains why one particular area had been flagged up as ‘red’.

Completing the video is a reminder for the customer to give the video a positive rating if satisfied, and to reassure the viewer that all relevant sanitisation measures have been taken in the course of conducting the health check. The end result is a highly professional and informative video that any customer would be able to understand. Congratulations, Mark!
