Johnson’s Hyundai Oxford – Sam Toop

Workshop videos should always deliver accessible, clearly communicated information to the car owner – but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for customer service at the same time. Our Workshop Star of the Month winner for February, Sam Toop of Johnsons Hyundai in Oxford, has demonstrated this perfectly.

At the very start of the video, Sam explains that not only is the car receiving its scheduled service, but that he is also carrying out a complimentary health check alongside it. This helps build trust between customer and dealer that the performance of the car is the top priority.

As he goes into further depth, he always makes sure his tyre gauge is in view when taking the tread depth readings, and keeps the customer informed as to other components that may need replacing in the near future. Despite delivering all this information, Sam manages to keep the video going at a good pace, helping to keep the customer engaged and interested.
