Accounts Executive

The Role

We are recruiting for a proactive and passionate Account Executive to join our growing European Sales team in Germany, the fastest growing region in Europe, with the largest customer base outside of the UK, at an exciting time of growth for CitNOW Group in Europe.

The Account Executive is responsible for driving the acquisition of new customers and expanding our partnerships with automotive dealers and dealer groups across the DACH region. You will collaborate with our wider CitNOW Group Sales team to identify and continue the development of best practice and new prospecting techniques.

CitNOW Group comprises Auto Imaging, AutoSLM, CitNOW, dealerdesk, Dealerweb, Quik, Reef, Tootle, Web1on1, VehicleVision, REALtime Communications (RTC) and Feasa.

The region has just under 2,000 customers and several successful brand partnerships with major OEM’s, such as Mercedes-Benz and Ford, that are critical to our customer strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Executive
  • Acquisition of new customers to expand our partnerships with automotive dealers and dealer groups
  • Working to team and individual new business MRR & ARR target
  • Providing detailed and enthusiastic demonstrations of all CitNOW Group products to potential and existing customers, online and on site
  • Creating and managing an active pipeline of leads and opportunities in Salesforce
  • Partnering with our Marketing, Global Programmes and Customer Success Teams to identify opportunities with existing customers and plan relevant Go-To-Market strategy
  • Accurately report to the Director of Sales DACH on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Conducting business development webinars for dealers to showcase CitNOW Group products
  • Representing the company at industry events and function
  • Building and maintaining exceptional customer relationships with existing clients
  • Collaborating with other sales colleagues to continue the development of best practice and new prospecting techniques
Knowledge & Skills
  • Software sales experience is preferred
  • Previous experience of the Automotive industry is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent telephone skills and a confident communicator
  • Fluency in German and English is essential
  • Strong understanding and experience of using Salesforce (or a similar CRM) is desirable
  • Technical proficiency with Outlook, MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Communication skills: writes clearly and concisely, speaks effectively and listens attentively
  • Interpersonal skills: enthusiastic with a can-do attitude, works well with others, supportive, motivates and cooperates with others
  • Organisational skills: punctual and attentive, high levels of attention to detail
  • Problem analysis skills: ability to understand the man problem, identify the potential causes and propose solutions
  • Teamwork skills: ability to participate and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the information systems throughout the organisation
  • Awareness and experience of MEDDPICC sales methodology is beneficial
