Business Development Manager – DACH

The Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers whilst expanding our partnerships with automotive dealers and dealer groups across Germany. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to the negotiation stage whilst maintaining full ownership of all account management and retention activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an active pipeline of leads and opportunities in Salesforce
  • Working to team and individual new business MRR targets
  • Provide detailed and enthusiastic demonstrations of all CitNOW products to potential and existing customers, online and onsite
  • Acquisition of new customers to expand our partnerships with automotive dealers and dealer groups
  • Partnership with Account Managers and Account Directors to identify opportunities with existing customers and plan a sales approach
  • Accurately report to the Head of Sales DACH on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Conducting webinars for dealers to showcase CitNOW’s products
  • Representing the company at industry events and functions
  • Build and maintain exceptional customer relationships with existing clients
  • Be responsible for managing existing accounts across a large defined territory and have full ownership of all account management and retention activities
  • Collaborate with other sales colleagues to continue the development of best practice and new prospecting techniques
You must have:
  •  A minimum of 3 years of professional sales experience in the automotive industry
  • Strong understanding and experience of using and maintaining data within Salesforce
  • Excellent command of written and spoken German and English
  • Excellent telephone skills/a confident communicator
