Business Development Consultant

The Role

In this role you will be a part of a close and committed team who
strive to maximise the opportunity in the UK market and deliver consistent market growth. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with dealerships, dealer groups and OEMs to generate new business across the UK. You will be closely supported by the team but also given the freedom and responsibility to manage your own diary and general activity.
Although sales and automotive experience could be useful, it is not necessarily required – personality and application is the key.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing an active pipeline of leads and opportunities within Salesforce
  • Working to team and individual MRR added targets
  • Demonstrating all CitNOW & Tootle products to potential and existing customers in a detailed and enthusiastic way
  • Prospecting new and existing customers to identify opportunities
  • Winning business and gaining commitment from dealerships and dealer groups to invest in CitNOW
  • Understanding customer requirements once committed and working with the Customer Onboarding team to deliver an excellent experience for the new customer
  • Work with Account Managers and Account Directors to identify opportunities with existing customers and planning a sales approach
  • Taking part in prospecting campaigns to large networks of dealers
  • Reporting accurately to sales management on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Visiting dealerships in person to deliver demonstrations of the CitNOW solutions
  • Hosting remote webinars for dealerships to present the relevant CitNOW products
  • Recording activity in Salesforce against relevant leads, opportunities and accounts
  • Representing the company at industry events and functions
Knowledge & Skills
  • Excellent telephone skills/a confident communicator
  • Strong work ethic, a self-starter with a proactive approach
  • Technical proficiency with Outlook, MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A full UK Driving licence is essential
  • Previous experience of working in the Automotive industry is desirable but not essential
  • Interpersonal skills: enthusiastic with a can-do attitude, works well with others, supportive and motivates others
  • Critical thinking skills: gather facts, handle the details of the issue, reason logically and provide the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed action
